When I asked Lisa why she does what she does and how she can best help people during the Holidays and into the New Year, this is what she shared with me:

“I love assisting families to stay strong and close. I do this by helping caregivers to stay strong before they burnout and can no longer look after their senior parents. By helping the seniors with daily living requirements and companionship, the pressure is lifted from the family caregiver and everyone is happier and healthier.
Along with my volunteer work at the Alzheimer’s Society, I have been donating to the food bank, filling shoe boxes for the homeless and look forward to being part of complimentary seminars for caregivers. ” – Lisa Kelso, Owner, Enriched Companion Care

Lisa Kelso established Enriched Companion Care after working for several years in Retirement Home/Assisted Living Communities and is a family caregiver herself.

Lisa provides a caring and nurturing environment for her clients. Using music, art, outings and hobbies, she strives to enrich her care recipient’s day. Making small changes that have a big impact and striving for a healthier and happier individual is a key approach in creating a plan for each individual. Enriched Companion Care services are performed the way our clients would want their loved one to be looked after.
